Catch the Vision - Center of Life Campaign

Every year thousands of Marion County residents who cannot afford insurance or health care rely on our local Emergency Rooms for basic medical care.  As many as 4,000 people each year end up in the ER due to dental problems alone. This comes at a great cost to our hospitals and our community.

In an attempt to address this issue, Interfaith has been hosting the site for 2 free health clinics over the past year, serving patients 1 -2 nights each week and has the opportunity to expand this to add mental health services, vision services and a dental station. The only barrier to expansion has been our lack of space.

There are doctors and medical professionals literally waiting in the wings to come and offer their expertise to those in need if we provide a place for them to do so.

Interfaith has a rare opportunity to purchase the Women’s Center located on North Pine Avenue. This facility is already set up and zoned for medical use and is adjacent to Interfaith’s property, making it convenient for our residents and clients.  We currently have a contract to purchase the property and are raising the funds necessary to move forward with this purchase.

Interfaith is seeking partners to help purchase this medical facility and be a host site for medical professionals to give back and provide their services at no charge to those sick and suffering.  This is a significant way to impact the overall health of our community by providing care for the homeless and low income individuals that are uninsured.

Our immediate goal is to raise $380,000 as soon as possible so that we can close on this property and start providing these much needed services. We believe that if multiple people, churches and businesses in this community can help a little, we could accomplish a lot with this facility. Please consider how you can be a part of this exciting opportunity for our Marion County residents. This investment will provide health and healing for thousands of people for many years to come.

God willing we will name this facility the "Interfaith Emergency Services Center for Life"! lf you are interested in making a contribution please contact our CEO, Karla Grimsley by email, call or text her directly at 352-209-7045.
