Honoring special men and women in our community that have made a lasting impact, Legacies of Love highlights those that have made our community great.
LADIES HIGH TEA
This beautiful event is a highly sought opportunity for ladies to enjoy an authentic high tea, around elegantly decorated tables. To attend you must be a sponsor, hostess or the guest of a hostess. The purpose of this event is to raise support for the Interfaith Homeless Shelter which serves homeless women, children and families.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
Hosted by the Marion County Roadbuilders Association, Florida Feast is an annual event held at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion. One of the best evenings of the fall season, attendees enjoy great food, silent auctions and raffles and an opportunity to socialize with friends. Funds go towards our Food Distribution program, serving 80+ individuals and families a day.
BRICK CITY BEER AND WINE FESTIVAL
This annual event is hosted by the Silver Springs and Ocala Sunset Rotary Clubs and benefits 3 worthy charities; Interfaith, Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection and Marion Literacy Council. Each year this event grows in size and popularity and benefited each charity $45,000 in 2023. With a Battle of the Bands, tons of vendors and beautiful Spring weather this is a great day to support local charities. Sponsorships are available and tickets go on sale in January of 2024.
Give4Marion is an online giving event hosted by the Community Foundation of Marion County. Held in September, it will hold special online and in-person opportunities to raise awareness and dollars for local charities.
