I am alone with nowhere to go. I’m only 25, but I feel like a child without anyone to care for me. I am an addict. Although I was clean for 18 months, I got in the wrong crowd, took one hit, and was done, again.

A Day in the Park - Volunteer Appreciation Event

Our Interfaith Volunteers are invited to join us for a beautiful day in the park, as we celebrate all the good works Interfaith Emergency Services provides to the community through our volunteers!  Bring lawn chairs or a blanket. There will be special entertainment for your enjoyment.  Lunch will be provided.

Date: April 16, 2011

Time: 11am - 1pm

Place: Sholom Park, 6840 SW 80th Avenue, Ocala 34481

Directions: From SR 200, turn onto SE 80th Avenue - The Canopy Oak Center with the Publix is on the corner, and the sign for On Top of the World Communities.  The park is 2.3 miles on the left.

Praise with a Purpose Benefit Concert

Don't miss our first benefit concert on the Ocala Downtown Square, as Christian band Shameless Faith takes the stage on May 14 from 5pm-8pm.  The event is to raise awareness in the community for helping the homeless and families in need in Marion County.  There will be food, entertainment and events for the kids.  T-shirts will be on sale and donations will be accepted.

KIDZFX will be there with fun games for the whole family and face painting. Come to find out more about their Character Counts Summer Day Camp.  The Lions Club will be there as well offering items such as hamburgers and funnel cakes!

Ocala Open Charity Pro-Am

Candler Hills Golf Club will host the 5th annual Ocala Open in March 2011. The event will be a three day tournament, playing Wednesday through Friday with a Pro-Am scheduled for Tuesday.
